Border
There is a border around the entire central portion of this stone. Along the tympanum's dome, there are tab-like images around the edge. At the stone's shoulders, they morph into a rope-like image. On either side of the tablet are multi-tiered columns with a round ball capping it off on top. These are meant to personify bed posts.
Remark
The tympanum contains two design elements. The central image is the ornate urn which is frames in a keepsake-like frame. Already mentioned was the tab-like edging along the top and the rope-like imaged along the sides.
