Stone Type
slate
Tympanum
face with ornamentation
Border
This stone has four lines formed into three borders around its circumference. The outermost border is thicker in width and, in part due to time, is rougher in execution. The next two borders parallel each other around the stone. The inner one also forms the border between the tympanum and the tablet section. There is another border framing the tablet.
Remark
This stone has been damaged over time especially around the edges. The tympanum has several design elements that are unique. The face is an early rendition due to its round shape and round eyes, thick nose, and emotionless expressions. The shoulders and body are generic and without detail. The bonnet is the only indication of gender. The shoulders of this stone are very high and peaked.
Physical Status
straight cracked
Intelligibility
readable with difficulty
