Stone Type
slate
Tympanum
face with ornamentation
Border
The beveled edge of this stone is combined with a single line to provide a border around the circumference. The border is thicker over the dome and then shrinks to a very thin line over the stone's shoulders and down the sides. There are illustrated borders panels on the left and right of the tablet that are filled with repeated diagonal lines.
Remark
The tympanum has four design elements. The arch over it is a single layer with a single line of marks along its bottom. The background is made of multiple awl marks. Despite the date, the figure is an early type of rendition with the simplified round face and facial details. The wings are tab-like.
