Border
A two-line border is found the entire way around this stone. It varies over its spaces, but remains significant. The tympanum and the table section are both delineated by a single-line. There are illustrated panels around three sides of the tablet section. Along with the eight-slice, pie-shaped in the upper corners, it represents another interpretation of a flower with a long stem that surrounds the tablet. Unique are the alternating 6 point star- and 8 slice pie-based designs down the stem along with the sine-wave type design along the bottom.
Remark
Unfortunately the cemetery has placed another fallen stone leaning against this headstone. (it is discussed separately) Only by slightly pulling it away was I able to capture what was hidden. The tympanum is a large space with an compressed oval shape, round eye sockets, crudely engraved teeth, flowing three-level wings and a tricorn hat!
