Here lyes the Body of Mrs. Phebe Stearns wife of Mr. Nat'n_l Stearns Jun_r who died Apil 9th 1773 in the 21the year of her_age.

There is a general four line border around the circumference of the stone broken down to three areas before the main sections of the stone. The first section is simply blank of medium width and surrounds the entire stone. It is unbroken. The second area is a second blank are but this is divided by sections. The upper tympanum section is dome shaped so this border curves around with it ending at the upper border of the tablet. The lower tablet section is just another blank space between the outer border and the inner material but it only runs up and down the side terminating at the upper and lower borders of the tablet.
