- Stone Type
- slate
- Tympanum
- face with ornamentation, memento mori
- Border
- Two line border encases the tympanum ending in the two shoulder space which are empty save a single engraved line. The rounded shoulders are echoed in the line. It begins in the innermost point, half circles to the outside, over the shoulder and proceeds down each side before splitting. One is incorporated into the outside margin of the tablet while the other accents the shape of the shoulder space. There is a tiny pin point in the center of the dome as if drawn by a compass.
The tablet section is bordered on the top by the tympanum. It then gables down to form a medium width two line border around the tablet.
- Remark
- The top of the tympanum is crowned with an arch that holds the Memento Mori.
The winged face is flanked by two plants, one with a bud, one without.
The face exhibits the clear departure from circles and presents a better bas relief head with indents from the chin up the jaw. The eyebrow to nose line continues to soften from its bulbous predecessors. The eyes appear sad with a downward tilt to the outside. His mouth is straight without any emotion.
The wings are widely spread taking up most of the space. They are not detailed beyond a delineation of each feather. The collar is present.
