Stone Type
slate
Tympanum
skull
Border
A two line, thin width border runs the circumference of this stone. After traversing the dome of the tympanum, it leaps over the stone's shoulders and proceeds down as the outer border of the two side panels. The tablet uses the same dimension line for a double border around the tablet.
Remark
The side panels, the bottom panel and the space above the winged skull all utilize the same designs. The cascading imagery appears aquatic with nautilus-like design incorporated. The skull has a oddly flat top (like it was a drinking vessel) but otherwise is more like the older lightbulb shapes than the more humanistic ones that followed. The mouth/nasal area produce a nice "lear" look to the row of teeth mouth. The wings are long and take up all the lower tympanum space. The are single quill, multi-segmented types. On the stone shoulders are a dual concentric circle with a dot in the middle circle and the segmented outer layer.
