Stone Type
slate
Tympanum
face with ornamentation
Border
A two line border is found around the entire stone. The tympanum is in bas relief so it is indented and marked by a single line. The same is true for the two side panels which are illustrated with wave imagery topped by a nautilus-like image.
Remark
The central figure in the tympanum is the winged "old judge" figure sternly looking down. The wig has some fine details but the face is oblong without the humanism of later years. The wings are single vein with minimal details for the feathers.
