Stone Type
slate
Tympanum
face with ornamentation
Border
There is a medium width two line border over the tympanum that hops over the stone's shoulders and them proceeds down the outside edges. Illustrated side panels adorn the stone to the left and right of the tablet.
Remark
The tympanum image of a winged being (angel) appears more stylized with deeper bas-relief features. The mirror imaged hair lozenge, eyebrows, eyes and eyelids, nose and mouth area all show greater detail and presence due to deeper etching. The neck under the head is generic. The arched wings exhibit two distinct types of feathers; a tighter smaller feather on the lead edge and longer flowing feathers farther down the wings.
