Border
A two line border runs the circumference of this stone. It covers the gabled tympanum, over the dome of the stone's shoulders and down the sides. The tympanum bas-relief secures it's space. The two side columns on either side of the tablet are simple crook-shaped inscriptions.
Remark
This rendition of a face borrows stylistic cues from the "judge" figure found on early stones. The large, well fed shape of the head are complemented by the realistic nose, cheeks, eyes and mouth. The curly hair is pulled back. The head sits in the space in the middle of the wings which are comprised of two different feathers.
