Stone Type

Tympanum
skull
Border
A thin, two line border line covers the dome top of the tympanum. At this stone's shoulders, the line thickens, goes over the circles at the top of the illustrated side panels and then proceeds down the two sides and across the bottom. There is a three line, two border framing the tablet. The outermost border is thickest while the inner one is significantly thinner.
Remark
The tympanum contains a large skull of the later early period design. It is still light bulb shaped, oval eyes, triangular nasal cavity and anatomically incorrect simple teeth taking up the lower skull. The wings are feathers with an advanced single quill, multi-segments. The illustrated side panels each have triple concentric circles on top with cascading floral like design descending from them. There is another set of concentric circles in the middle of the bottom panel with cascading floral designs extending from it in a bi-radial configuration.
