Stone Type
slate
Tympanum
skull
Border
Despite time's effects on this stone's appearance, there appears to be a three line, thin width, double border around the tablet section and, one can safely assume, a single border line of similar width around the tympanum.
Remark
Whether the damage occurred prior to the stone's installation into the granite frame or during, this stone's erosion to time is significant including about a fifth of its face. The skull is an early rendition with a very round shape of both the skull and the eye sockets. The nasal cavity is triangular.
