Border
There is a four line, three component border over the dome of the tympanum. The wide illustrated middle border has an upper and lower thin two line border making for an intricate, substantial protective border. The top of the outer border around tablet forms the base of the tympanum. Inside of that outer tablet border, is a thin two line border. There are also two illustrated border panels to the left and right of the tablet.
Remark
The illustrated border over the tympanum appears more agricultural than other themes. The skull in the tympanum occupies the central space. It is early middle period rendition with roundish skull shape and eye sockets, triangular nasal cavity and teeth taking up the lower skull. The feathers making up the wings are very simple without detail. They are arched as high as the skull.
