skull
Border
This stone circumference utilized a thick, two line border. Illustrated panels on three sides of the tablet section provide further bordering. The tablet itself has a three line, two border design. The outer border blank and thick. An inner border is a segmented line resembling a rope.
Remark
The tympanum uses four design elements. First is a thinner version of the motif employed in the side panels. All the panels on this stone use a bi-radial design making them almost mirror imaged. The top tympanum and bottom panels both uses lots of nautilus-like images. The side and bottom panels are centered on three points; one each at the top of the columns and one in the center of the bottom panel. Most of the imagery seems floral. The tympanum's main image is the winged skull. This rendition appears late early period due to the oval eyes, triangular nasal cavity and large teeth display. The wings are arc'ed high above the skull and utilize a single quill, multiple segment design.
