- Surveyed On
- October 23, 2015
- Stone Type
- slate
- Tympanum
- face with ornamentation
- Border
- A two line, think width border runs the circumference of this stone. It also forms the top border on the gabled tablet section. The plaque itself is presented in bas-relief due to an indented gabled border inside of the outer border.
- Remark
- The tympanum contains three identifiable design elements. If an arch was at the top of the tympanum, it has been lost. The winged face and plant accents are still there. The face is from the middle period and, while realistic features are prominent, the scowl on the mouth and eyes keeps it in its proper time frame.
The wings are tab-type with minimal details.
The plants grow from the stone's shoulders and frame the base of the winged face.
- Physical Status
- straight less_than_20_degrees
- Intelligibility
- readable, broken images or writing
- Biological Contaminants
- minor incursion
