MIRIAM HOWE Consort of Mr. Sylvanus Howe who died Sept. 1, 1803 AEt 33 Together with their four dear children 1 of whom were in the space of three weeks summoned to pass that bough from whence no traveller return Leaving him disconsolate & alone (redicthoin?) so unparalleled a loss which affecting scene proved OUr lives are short and full of And soon disappear

An Infant Son died August 11 1803 SALLY HOWE died August 12 1803 Aged 17 months MARIA B. HOWE died August 19th 1803 AEt 3 years NANCY HOWE died August 31 1803 AEt 4 years & 9 months

All stones share the same design. The Urn in the center of the tympanum has boughs of tree shading it. The bottom line is a wave. The tablet section has a two line, medium thick border around its circumference. The tablet is presented in all cases as an oval plaque.
Remark
These five memorials for a mother and her four kids who all died with a month or so of each other is unusual and heartbreaking.
