skull
Border
A two line, thin width border marks the outer edge of this stone. There is a three line, two line border around the tablet with a continuous tableau around all four sides.
Remark
The tympanum utilizes three design elements. Along the top is a multiple fold border-like curtain with excess gathered at the end. This becomes part of the transition from an arch to the stage. The skull, with a flat top, has simplified details with round eyes, triangular nasal cavity, simplified teeth display. The wings are single quill with multiple segments and are laid out to fully utilize the space. The illustrated panels around the tablet form three separate sections. The two side are the same with a enclosed circle at the top containing a diamond shaped cross-hatched cross in its middle. Leaves cascade down the panel's length. The top has a four leafed flower at its center point, a branch with leaves bidirectionally passing towards the circles in the shoulders. The bottom panel continues the designs from the side panels. It is biradial design that branches out from the center three level circle.
