Border
This stone has three distinct borders. The outermost border covers the dome of the tympanum and then forms a circle around the star found at the stone's shoulders. After encircling the star, it proceeds down the stone's side. The next border inward begins and terminates as spools found to the inside of the stars located in the tympanum's outer corners. The innermost border begins and terminates in spools found to the left and right of the central face. There are illustrated panels to the left and right of the tablet section.
Remark
The tympanum has three design elements. We've already addressed the spools and the border lines. The face is early rendition using only basic shapes (i.e. line, circle, rectangle) for facial features. There are two sets of stars. The pair in the tympanum are six-sided. The pair on the shoulders included a second miniature star within a circle in the center of the larger star. The illustrated panels incorporate a repeated design made up of a nautilus-like swirl that is led out with a straight line. The are joined in polar opposite directions down the panels.
