- Surveyed On
- September 17, 2015
- Stone Type
- slate
- Tympanum
- face with ornamentation
- Border
- Four lines make up three border lines surrounding this stone.
The first border line, made up of the first two lines, is outermost on the tympanum. It traverses the tympanum and then moves over the top of the six armed star at each stone's shoulders and then down the sides.
The second border line traverses the tympanum under the first border line, and then finishing encircling the stars at the shoulders by completing the circle around the bottom edge.
The entire tablet section has illustrated panels all the way around. The imagery flows around the panels with a center point in the bottom panel. It is more floral (looking like ferns) than aquatic as in other examples.
- Remark
- A lot of the details of the engravings have been lost to time. But we can still make out a basic face on a thin neck and wide body. The eyes are round, the nose bulbous, the mouth straight across. The wig is a lozenge type shape that lays over the top of the head.
The effort to save the stone with two steel bars are very close to failing.
