- The border is intertwined with the plant the fills the space outside of the face on the tympanum. The plant design is mirror imaged.
The imagery also is employed in the two side panels and the bottom panel.
The memento mori is incorporated into the banner below the tympanum and above the tablet. There is a thin dividing line between his and his sister's memorials.

- The face exhibits a classic which may, in part, because the of the combed forward hair and the eyes both of which resemble classic statuaries.
