RELIANCE MORTON
WIFE TO Mr. JOHN
MORTON WHO DIED
DEC_br y_e 4th
1735 IN y_e 56th YEAR
OF HIS AGE
- Surveyed On
- September 1, 2015
- Stone Type
- slate
- Tympanum
- skull
- Border
- Since the stone has delaminated and aged poorly, it is difficult to definitively describe some of the details. The top portion of the tympanum has vanished over time but we can still surmise that there was a border that began and ended at the two shoulders of the stone. These terminations are illustrated as wound reels looking like a nautilus.
- Remark
- The skull image in the center of the tympanum is mostly gone but it is still clear it was an early rendition with a lightbulb shape, triangular nasal cavity, etc.
- Physical Status
- straight less_than_20_degrees
- Intelligibility
- readable
- Biological Contaminants
- medium incursion
