skull
Border
The tympanum is bordered all around its circumference. The dome portion is twice the width of the bottom. The tablet is bordered on the top and sides with illustrated panels. The illustrations are of the nautilus-like shapes that can be interpreted as either plants or waves. The top section is configured in a biradial pattern with a heart in the center. The side panels are topped with a concentric pair of circles with the same shapes lining the sides.
Remark
The skull echoes the heart motif with the shape of the mouth. The eyes while becoming elliptical are blank. The nose is a triangle. The background focuses the viewer on the face by directing all their energies inward.
