In memory of Cap_t. ELISHA ALLEN, who was inhumanly mur_ dered by Samuel Frost, July 16th 1793 Aged 48 Years

Passengers behold my friends and view; Breathless I lie no more with you; Hurried from life, Sent to the grave, Jesus my only hope to fame, No warning had of my Sad fate Till dire the shot, alas to late.

A two line, thin width border runs along the top of the tympanum and then stops once it traverses the stone's shoulders. The tablet section is presented in bas-relief as a plaque suspended from two stone columns.
Remark
The tympanum has three design elements. The arch fits right underneath the border and covers the winged face. It extends and morphs to two seeds which are replicated in the stone's shoulders. The oval face is emotionless, with pulled back hair, delineated cheeks and chin, and an eyebrow to nose transition. The wings are presented as tab-type with a heart pendant hanging from the center with a small star .
