- Surveyed On
- April 30, 2016
- Stone Type
- slate
- Tympanum
- face with ornamentation, memento mori
- Border
- A double row of borders surround the circumference of this stone. The outside border is beveled cut. The inside one is flatter and it also splits just below the stone's shoulders to create the top border of the tablet. That is also the prominent place for Memento Mori.
A single line separates the main body of the tablet from the lower last thought.
- Remark
- This tympanum presents two design elements.
The face and torso in the cut niche is emotionless and genderless. Its design is from an earlier period.
The plants that grow from the shoulders to accent the niche and face add to the overall effect.
- Physical Status
- straight less_than_20_degrees
- Intelligibility
- readable
