face (female)
Border
A two line medium width border covers the dome of the tympanum. Another slightly thinner border begins at the stone's shoulders and goes down the sides. Another border on either side begins at the stone's shoulders and becomes incorporated into the tablet on
Remark
The tympanum imagery consists of a clearly female head of the early middle period when the circle face became more identifiably human with a chin and cheeks. The nose is still cartoonish and the eyes include more detail. The mouth is expressionless but the hair is curly. The neck and shoulders are generically non-descript. There are hints of a curtain to either side of the face and hair.
