Border
Despite the outer edge being damaged either prior or during its installation into the granite frame, we can clearly see the two line, thin width border line around this stone's circumference. We can also still see the two illustrated side panels. The existence of a bottom panel is left to conjecture.
Remark
The tympanum is filled with a winged skull. The skull in this case is distorted to be very wide with round eye sockets, triangular nasal cavity and a big expanse of teeth at the bottom. The wings are single quill, multiple segment renditions. The side panels are topped with concentric circles. Emanating from them are cascading imagery resembling more aquatic images than floral.
