- Stone Type
- slate
- Tympanum
- face with ornamentation
- Border
- The thick, two line border over the tympanum crosses over the stone's shoulders and then proceeds down the sides. There are illustrated side panels to the left and right of the tablet section. A Canterbury cross in a circle tops each panel. Cascading down the panels' length are abstract plant-like images.
- Remark
- This tympanum's imagery appears to be from the early to middle period. The shape of the head and the hair both show evolutionary effects from their earlier styles. The more positive look on the face also shows an change from earlier attitudes. The use of space in this tympanum is also more advanced. The attempt to raise the figure off the bottom and have it sit in the middle of the space. The bas relief of the hair shows continued development.
