Stone Type
slate
Tympanum
face with ornamentation
Border
A two line, medium thick border runs over the tympanum's dome. As it traverses the stone's shoulders, it reduces to half it's width and proceeds down the side. There are two illustrated panels to the left and right of the tablet section. A six legged star in a circle sits atop each column. A line drops off the circle and, in a serpentine manner, moves down the panel. It then becomes the foundation of etchings of leaves and abstract shapes.
Remark
The face in the center of the tympanum has a round shape, minimal details and very simplistic hair. This reinforces its manufacture as late early period. There are also two hints of a shape at the extreme left and right that could be either a leaves, the remnants of the older multipoint backgrounds or a curtain to a stage.
