In memory of Sally Harrington, Dau_t. of M_r. Abijah Harrington & M_rs. Sarah, his wife. who Died Feb.11_th 1786. aged 3 years, & 5 months.

Alas! the brittle day, Which built our body's first & ev'ry month of ev'ry day Tis mouldering back to dust.

Border
A two line, thin width border was designed along the circumference of this stone. The tablet is presented in bas-relief within another two line border that is depressed into the negative space to provide the raised effect.
Remark
The tympanum has two design elements. The arch overhead has a serrated edge along the top right underneath the outermost border. A rope-like braid runs along the bottom edge. The face has detailing as befits this period with clearly defined eyes, cheeks, chin, mouth and a eyebrow to nose transition. His hair is combed straight down. The wings are tab-like with a rounded tip and lines to designate multiple feathers. The lead edge of the wings is also clearly defined.
